Founded in 2012, Humanity's Kitchen is an approved trade school through the Delaware Department of Education. Rick Carter, a Delaware-native, is passionate about cooking and baking. He cherished every moment spent using his culinary skills as a child and carried this tradition well into college. As an adult, he imparted this knowledge and passion to his children. His love for cooking and helping others led him to his career in the hospitality industry.
Rick Carter believes that cooking is a form of art that can bring people together. Carter wanted others to experience the same joy and satisfaction he felt when cooking. He came up with a unique idea of sharing his knowledge and skills by creating a cooking school called Humanity’s Kitchen.
